لم يكن الأزواديون النازحون من جحيم الاقتتال الدائر بين الجيش المالي والمقاتلين الطوارق، وحدهم من يعاني من جراء تلك الحرب، فالمنمون الموريتانيون وجدوا أنفسهم فجأة في مهب تلك العاصفة الهوجاء يكتوون بنارها ويصطلون بلظاها دون أن يكونوا طرفا فيها.
