أشارت بعض الصحف البريطانية والأميركية إلى التحقيقات الجنائية التي تزمع الشرطة البريطانية إجراءها بشأن مدى تورط المخابرات البريطانية في عمليات اعتقال وتسليم ليبيين معارضين للقذافي إلى طرابلس، وكذلك في التسبب في تعرضهم للتعذيب.
