ضمن محاولاتها الرامية للحفاظ على يهوديتها تبنت إسرائيل اليوم قانونا يعرف بـ"قانون المتسللين" يفرض عقوبات صارمة على المتسللين الأفارقة مما أثار انتقادات بعض الأوساط الحقوقية المتخوفة من اتخاذ هذا القانون مسوغا لانتهاك حقوق اللاجئين وممارسة سياسات لا إنسانية.
