شنت مقاتلات حربية يعتقد أنها كينية غارات جوية على الضاحية الجنوبية لمدينة أفمدو بولاية جوبا السفلى، جاء القصف بعد ساعات من وقوع اشتباكات عنيفة بين مسلحي حركة الشباب المجاهدين والقوات الكينية والصومالية في منطقة تتمركز فيها هذه القوات بمحيط الولاية.
