قال وزير الخارجية الفرنسي آلان جوبيه إن أيام النظام السوري باتت معدودة، وذلك عقب فرض الجامعة العربية عقوبات على دمشق، اعتبرتها بريطانيا خطوة لإنهاء صمت الأمم المتحدة، وتعهدت تركيا بالالتزام بها، بينما نددت بها دمشق ووصفتها بالأمر المؤسف.
