أظهرت دراسة أجراها علماء كنديون أن الدول الأفريقية الواقعة جنوب الصحراء التي استثمرت في تدريب الأطباء انتهى بها الحال إلي خسارة ملياري دولار، لأن الأطباء المتمرسين رحلوا عن بلدانهم للبحث عن عمل في دول متقدمة أكثر ثراء.
