توقع مسؤولون وخبراء أن تعود رؤوس الأموال الأجنبية إلى التدفق من جديد على المنطقة العربية التي شهدت ثورات شعبية أطاحت بنظم دكتاتورية، لكن بعضهم ربط ذلك بضرورة إطلاق برامج حكومية لفائدة المستثمرين تتضمن التأمين ضد المخاطر السياسية التي رافقت تفاعلات ربيع الثورات.
