دعا المجلس الوطني السوري إلى إعلان حمص مدينة منكوبة وطالب بتدخل دولي لحماية المدنيين هناك, بينما يستمر حصار الأجهزة الأمنية لها لليوم الخامس على التوالي. جاء ذلك بينما واصلت قوات الأمن مواجهة المتظاهرين المطالبين برحيل نظام الأسد في مناطق متفرقة.
