طالب مشروع القرار الأممي الخاص بالوضع باليمن الرئيس علي عبد الله صالح التوقيع فورا على المبادرة الخليجية ونقل السلطة، مقابل تعهد بعدم ملاحقته قضائيا، في وقت دعت فيه الحكومة مجلس الأمن إلى عدم إصدار قرارات من شأنها تعقيد الموقف.
