قالت مصادر في حركة حماس إنه تم التوصل إلى اتفاق لإتمام صفقة تبادل الأسرى مع إسرائيل، وأكدت المصادر أنه سيتم تنفيذ الاتفاق خلال أيام. من جانبها قالت إذاعة إسرائيل إن وزراء بالحكومة سيجتمعون لبحث اتفاق مبادلة أسرى فلسطينيين مقابل الإفراج عن جلعاد شاليط.
