ألقت حالة الشلل التي يعيشها الاقتصاد اليمني، منذ بدء اندلاع الاحتجاجات قبل حوالي تسعة أشهر، بظلالها على الأوضاع المعيشية للناس بعد أن فقد الآلاف من العمال وظائفهم مما تسبب في رفع نسبة البطالة إلى ما يقرب من 45%.
