اعلنت وزارة الزراعة الامريكية أن أكثر من ثلاثين مليون مواطن أمريكي بحاجة للمساعدات الغذائية التي تقدمها الحكومة الامريكية للفقراء. وأوضح التقرير أن نسبة الاطفال الامريكيين ممن هم بحاجة للمساعدات الغذائية إرتفعت بنسبة خمسين بالمائة خلال الاعوام الاخيرة.
