وافق البرلمان السوداني -في جلسة طارئة- على قرار الرئيس السوداني عمر البشير بفرض حالة الطوارئ في ولاية النيل الأزرق الحدودية مع جنوب السودان، التي تشهد مواجهات بين الجيش ومسلحين تابعين للحركة الشعبية، ودعا البرلمان الجيش إلى الحسم العسكري تجاه من وصفهم بالمتمردين.
