وصلت إلى مطار مقديشو الاثنين طائرة استأجرتها المفوضية السامية لشؤون اللاجئين التابعة للأمم المتحدة تقل مساعدات إلى منكوبي الجفاف الموجودين في مراكز إيواء منتشرة بالعاصمة الصومالية، وفي هذه الأثناء قررت الولايات المتحدة تخصيص 105 ملايين دولار إضافية لضحايا الجفاف في القرن الأفريقي.
