امتدت أعمال العنف والسلب لبعض المتاجر والتخريب للمرافق العامة التي شهدتها منطقة توتنام شمالي العاصمة البريطانية لندن إلى منطقة إينفيلد المجاورة، ومنطقة بريكستون في جنوبي المدينة.وقد فتحت شرطة لندن تحقيقا موسعا في تلك الأحداث وقالت إن عدد المعتقلين على خلفية ما جرى وصل إلى ثمانية وأربعين، بينما بلغت الإصابات بين رجال الشرطة ستا ًوعشرين.
