أثار ما نقلته صحيفة الخليج الإماراتية من اتهام مصادر قبلية في محافظة أبين قواتِ الحكومة بعرقلة زحف القبائل لحسم المعركة ضدّ تنظيم القاعدة في زنجبار، أثار تساؤلات حول تنظيم القاعدة في اليمن، في ظل اتهام معارضين محليين للحكومة باستخدام القاعدة ورقة لكسب تأييد المجتمع الدولي لها. ويأتي تحذير المصادر القبلية للسلطة من مغبة استمرارها في استهداف القبائل المؤيدة للثورة، بينما يتزايد عدد المؤيدين للثورة اليمنية، مع ما يبدو من تمسك النظام بالسلطة.
