بعد أربعة أشهر على الاحتجاجات السورية فقد بشار الأسد حتى الحد الأدني من الإذعان المتجهم من شعبه ليحكم، وقد تجسد ذلك في مدينة حماة التي وصف أحد النشطاء مزاج التحدي فيها بأن الناس صامدون ويدافعون عن مدينتهم بصدور عارية.
