رغم الهدوء الذي ساد الجبهة الجنوبية مع إسرائيل منذ حرب 2006، فإن إسرائيل كررت في أكثر من مناسبة على لسان مسؤوليها الاستعداد لحرب جديدة مع لبنان، في المقابل أعلن حزب الله جاهزيته لأي مواجهة.
