قالت صحيفة لوس أنجلوس الأميركية إن وزير الدفاع الزائر ليون بانيتا طلب من المسؤولين العراقيين أن يسرعوا باتخاذ قرارهم النهائي حول الطلب من القوات الأميركية البقاء بالعراق بعد موعد انسحابها المقرر نهاية هذا العام.
