توج فريق الأهلي الخميس بلقب الدوري المصري الممتاز لكرة القدم للموسم السابع على التوالي وللمرة الـ36 بعدما تغلب على المقاولون العرب 5-1 بالمرحلة الـ29 قبل الأخيرة من المسابقة. في حين واصل الزمالك عروضه الهزيلة ونزيف النقاط حيث اكتفى بالتعادل مع وادي دجلة 1-1.
