أبرمت قطر اتفاقا مع الأجنتين يقضي بتزويد الأخيرة بخمسة ملايين طن من الغاز الطبيعي المسال سنويا لمدة عشرين سنة اعتبارا من عام 2014. وتشير التقديرات إلى أن هذه الكميات من الغاز تغطي 16% من إجمالي الاستهلاك السنوي للأرجنتين من الغاز.
