أعلن مسؤول في المجلس الوطني الانتقالي الليبي أن الأخير معني بتنفيذ قرار المحكمة الجنائية الدولية لتوقيف العقيد معمر القذافي وأن المجلس قد يشكل وحدة خاصة لتحقيق هذا الهدف.
