ترقب إسرائيل تصويت الأمم المتحدة في سبتمبر/أيلول المقبل على الاعتراف بدولة فلسطين المستقلة، وشكلت وزارة الخارجية الإسرائيلية طاقما خاصا يعرف باسم طاقم أيلول باشر التنسيق مع السفارات بالخارج بهدف استباق الاعتراف ومحاولة الالتفاف على السلطة الفلسطينية دوليا.
