عادت الأحزاب اليهودية لتغازل الجمهور العربي بالداخل الفلسطيني، رغم القطيعة وأزمة الثقة المستمرة منذ انتفاضة القدس بالعام 2000. وتستغل أحزاب اليسار الإسرائيلي أجواء التحريض العنصري على فلسطينيي 48 لتسوق ذاتها على أنها المنقذ لهم من نير أحزاب اليمين.
