في محاولة لإحباط مخطط جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي القاضي بمصادرة 140 ألف دونم (140 مليون متر مربع) من أراضي البحر الميت، بدأت السلطة الفلسطينية تحركات قضائية وشعبية ودبلوماسية وتدرس إمكانية التوجه بشكوى للأمم المتحدة.
