ذكرت صحيفة واشنطن بوست الأميركية أن الولايات المتحدة تسعى لتسريع المباحثات مع حركة طالبان في أفغانستان التي بدأت قبل أشهر، وأضافت أن المسؤولين الأميركيين يأملون تمكين الرئيس الأميركي باراك أوباما من ترك أفغانستان بلدا مستقرا عندما يعلن عن انسحاب قواته.
