قال اللورد نذير أحمد من بلدة روثرهام بالمملكة المتحدة إنه بصدد قيادة وفد من النواب المسلمين للتفاوض مع العقيد معمر القذافي لعقد اتفاق سلام. ونقلت صحيفة ديلي تلغراف عن أحمد قوله "ما حدث في ليبيا منذ 17 فبراير/شباط أرعب الناس".
