قالت الولايات المتحدة إن الحملة العسكرية التي تشنها الكتائب التابعة للعقيد الليبي معمر القذافي على المحتجين في ليبيا قد تصل إلى ثلاثين ألف قتيل، في الأثناء واصلت الكتائب قصفها مدينة الزنتان بصواريخ غراد كما استأنفت قصف مدينة مصراتة رغم إعلان انسحابها منها.
