يحتفل الإيرانيون هذه الأيام بعيد النيروز بعد حلول رأس السنة الشمسية التي توافق فلكيا الانقلاب السنوي الربيعي الذي حل فجر 21 مارس/آذار الحالي. واحتفلت الرئاسة الإيرانية بالمناسبة بحضور رئيسي العراق وأفغانستان ما دعا بعض المراقبين للقول إن ثمة تسييسا للمناسبة.
