قال الثوار إنهم قتلوا 30 قناصا من قوات العقيد الليبي معمر القذافي في مدينة مصراتة شرق العاصمة طرابلس الخميس، وتمكنوا من الوصول إلى وسط المدينة. ويتزامن ذلك مع تكثيف التحالف الدولي الضغط على القذافي عبر قصف محيط العاصمة طرابلس وسبها معقل قبيلته.
