أدانت هيئات صحفية وأحزاب سياسية موريتانية اعتقال فريق من قناة الجزيرة من قبل الكتائب الأمنية التابعة للعقيد معمر القذافي قبل أيام في إحدى مناطق الغرب الليبي ومن بينهم المراسل الموريتاني أحمد فال ولد الدين، وحثوا الرئيس الموريتاني على التدخل شخصيا للإفراج عنه.
