شكلت الثورة التي أطاحت بالرئيس يوم 11 فبراير/ شباط 2011 لحظة فاصلة في الحياة السياسية في مصر. وتألفت القوى التي أطاحت بحسني مبارك من خليط من الحركات الاحتجاجية والأحزاب والشخصيات المستقلة والاعتبارية المطالبة بالديمقراطية.
