كانت الفوضى التي ضربت عمل أجهزة الأمن المصرية يوم الجمعة 28 يناير/ كانون الثاني وعدم تمكنها من التعامل من موجات المتظاهرين، عاملا أساسيا في تمكن المصريين من قتل خوفهم من السلطة.
