توفي في نيويورك دنيس أوبنهايم الذي يُعتبر أهم وجوه الفن الأميركي المعاصر وأكثرهم خصوبة وتجريبا.واشتهر هذا الفنان بأسلوبه الذي اتخذ من سطح الأرض مكان للرسم والتدوين، وهو أحد مبتكري "الفن الجسدي".
