دعا محمد البرادعي أحد أقطاب الجمعية الوطنية للتغيير في مصر الرئيس حسني مبارك إلى التنحي لتجنيب البلاد مخاطر الانزلاق إلى الفوضى، وبالتالي إفساح المجال أمام مرحلة انتقالية تعنى بإعادة بناء البلاد على أسس ديمقراطية تلبي مطالب الشعب بالحرية والكرامة، على حد تعبيره.
