قالت تقارير صحفية جزائرية إن اشتباكات اندلعت بعد صلاة الجمعة بأحياء شعبية في عدة مناطق من البلاد بين قوات حفظ الأمن ومتظاهرين شباب، في وقت قررت فيه الرابطة الجزائرية لكرة القدم تأجيل كل مباريات الدوري التي كانت مقررة يومي الجمعة والسبت.
