أكدت حركة حماس أن الفلسطينيين في لبنان متمسكون بحق العودة ويرفضون التوطين والتهجير، ولن يكونوا طرفًا في أي نزاع لبناني. جاء ذلك في كلمة ألقاها ممثل الحركة الجديد في لبنان علي بركة خلال حفل نظمته (حماس) ببيروت بمناسبة الذكرى الـ23 لانطلاقها.
