أعلنت وزارة الصحة الإيرانية حالة الخطر في العاصمة طهران بسبب تلوث الهواء، ونشرت حافلات الطوارئ المجهزة بالوسائل الطبية اللازمة في ست نقاط من أنحاء المدينة. وتفيد أرقام رسمية بأن تلوث الهواء يتسبب سنوياً بوفاة نحو أربعة آلاف شخص بطهران وحدها.
