قال كبير المفاوضين الفلسطينيين صائب عريقات إن القيادة الفلسطينية تأمل من الإدارة الأميركية أن تعترف بالدولة الفلسطينية ضمن حدود عام 1967 في حين شدد الأمين العام للجامعة العربية على أنه "لا توجد الآن أي مساحة لمفاوضات مباشرة" بين الفلسطينيين والإسرائيليين.
