أثارت الدعوات التي وجهها بعض الكتاب لإنشاء شركة مساهمة سعودية للحج تكون على غرار الشركات الوطنية الكبرى، انتقاد عدد من المسؤولين والمعنيين بأمور الحج، واعتبر البعض أنه لا يمكن تحقيق هذه الفكرة لأسباب تاريخية وعقائدية ومذهبية.
