أعلنت السلطات الألمانية مواصلة الإجراءات الأمنية المشددة المعمول بها في البلاد حاليا بسبب ما وصفته بمخاوف من التعرض لهجوم من قبل متشددين إسلاميين. وتزامنت هذه الإجراءات مع مصادرة سلطات الأمن في ناميبيا ما يشتبه في أنه متفجرات كانت في طريقها إلى ألمانيا.
