أعلنت الحكومة الإسرائيلية الاثنين عن مخططات جديدة لبناء 1300 وحدة سكنية استيطانية بالجزء الشرقي من مدينة القدس المحتلة. تزامن هذا الإعلان مع زيارة رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو الحالية إلى واشنطن لبحث سبل استئناف محادثات السلام بالشرق الأوسط.
