كتبت الصحفية ماغي فيك المقيمة في جوبا جنوبي السودان تقريرا نشرته لها مجلة فورين بوليس الأميركية بشأن الأوضاع في المنطقة، وذلك قبيل موعد الاستفتاء على تقرير مصير جنوب السودان المزمع إجراؤه في يناير/كانون الثاني القادم، وسط مخاوف من اندلاع حرب أهلية هناك.
