أعلنت شبكة الجزيرة عن تأسيس فرقة "مسرح الجزيرة" التي تضم مجموعة من العاملين فيها من إعلاميين ومختصين ومهتمين بالمسرح وذلك في إطار رؤيتها لعام 2010، وسعيها لرفد الثفافة العربية لا سيما وأن الدوحة عاصمتها هذا العام.
