بلغت أسعار القطن في الأسواق العالمية الجمعة مستوى هو الأعلى منذ 15 عاما بسبب نقص المحاصيل في بلدان مثل باكستان, وزيادة كبيرة للطلب عليه في الصين. وأدى ذلك الارتفاع إلى زيادة فورية لأسعار الملابس الجاهزة.
