واصل المبعوث الأميركي للسلام في الشرق الأوسط جورج ميتشل سلسلة لقاءات يجريها بالمنطقة بهدف تذليل العقبات أمام استئناف المفاوضات المباشرة بين الفلسطينيين والإسرائيليين، وسط تأييد عربي ودولي للموقف الفلسطيني الرافض لمواصلة المفاوضات في ظل تمسك إسرائيل بعدم تجميد الاستيطان.
