تحل هذه الأيام الذكرى الرسمية لانطلاق "جبهة المقاومة الوطنية اللبنانية" ضد الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في السادس عشر من سبتمبر/أيلول عام 1982، عندما أعلنت قيادات في الأحزاب الوطنية اليسارية انطلاق الجبهة التي عرفت باسم "جمول".
