قالت مصادر أمنية إن العشرات سقطوا بين قتلى وجرحى معظمهم من المتظاهرين الاثنين في القسم الذي تديره الهند من كشمير وتقطنه غالبية مسلمة، في مظاهرات انطلقت احتجاجا على خطط قس أميركي حرق نسخ من القرآن الكريم، سرعان ما تحولت لمظاهرات ضد نيودلهي.
