قالت صحيفة بريطانية إن مئات الآلاف من الأطفال في وسط أفريقيا مهددون بالمجاعة والموت والمرض بعد أن أدت الفيضانات إلى تفاقم الأزمة الإنسانية التي تعاني منها المنطقة بسبب الجفاف.
