يرى نبيل الفولي أن رمضان شهر لثورة الإنسان على عاداته وحاجاته المادية، ولكن صورته في الواقع المريض الذي نحياه، راكمت عليه عادات وتقاليد حولته إلى مناسبة احتفالية شبيهة كلها بالعيد، مما يثقل الاقتصاد الخاص والعام معا.
